Two 1-year-old twins, and three other children, ages 9, 3, and 2, died in the Parkcliffe Avenue fire, the Youngstown Vindicator reported. Fire Investigator Capt. Kurt Wright told the news outlet there is nothing suspicious about the fire.
The mother of the children is being treated at a local hospital. She reportedly jumped out of a window during the blaze.
A neighbor called police after they spotted the fire. Flames were reportedly exploding out of the first floor windows of the house.
Firefighters were able to pull three of the five children out of the home. They were given CPR and taken to a local hospital.
