Man Pulled From Freshwater Pond In Enfield

ENFIELD, CT — A man was pulled from the waters of Freshwater Pond early Friday afternoon, and was brought to an area hospital, according to police.

A report of a body in the pond was received by police around 12:30 p.m. They requested a rescue boat from the adjacent Thompsonville Fire Department, and a rescue effort was initiated, police said.

Sgt. Doug Montas said he did not have information about the man’s condition. An investigation is ongoing.
