LOCKPORT, IL — An oil terminal will be built in Lockport Township after the Will County Board approved special use permits for the project at its July meeting.
The project, called the Ducere Terminal and built by Ducere LLC, will include the clearing of about 12 acres on the industrial parcel north of the Ninth Street Bridge, Ducere President Dave Nelson said.
The clearing of the site will also include the removal of silos, located north and south of Ninth Street, Nelson added.
