NORRISTOWN, PA — As the 2024 election season gets into full swing and candidates focus on the battleground state of Pennsylvania, President Joe Biden’s campaign has opened a new office in Norristown.
It’s one of 14 new offices across the state for Biden, who still faces a deficit in most polls against former President Donald Trump.

Montgomery County is one of the heaviest blue counties in the state, or the “key to the keystone,” as the East Norriton Democratic Committee shared in a post announcing hte opening of hte office.
“Each office is mobilizing volunteers and highlighting President Biden and Democrats’ work to lower costs for Pennsylvania families, defending and strengthening the Affordable Care Act, and protecting women’s fundamental freedoms while Trump pushes a national abortion ban,” the Biden campaign said in a statement.

Other Biden offices are located nearby in Philadelphia and Delaware County.

According to an aggregate of recent polls from RealClearPolitics, Biden has come back to hold a 0.1 percent lead over Trump in Pennsylvania. Trump leads by about 0.3 points nationally.
