OGC Nice raise €120,000 for families of the Nice terrorist attack victims

OGC Nice have raised over €120,000 through the auction of special commemorative shirts that were worn during Les Aiglons’s first home game of the season against Rennes for the families of the Nice terrorist attack victims.

Former OGC Nice President André Boïs paid €11,100 for Mario Balotelli’s shirt, whilst Hatem Ben Arfa bought the shirts of Yoan Cardinale and Rennes’s promising attacker Adama Diakhaby for a combined total of €3,100.

The exact amount that OGC Nice raised was €121,500.

Other buyers included the French Football Federation, the LFP and Montpellier HSC.
